Regenerative farming for profit and production

Our mentoring team will help you enhance the natural function of your soil to drive gains in crop and livestock performance and future-proof your farm business.

A biologically active and functional soil builds the foundation of a resilient farming business by:

  • Improving water cycling and reducing exposure to extreme weather events

  • Building higher nutrient content in forage and crops

  • Increasing resistance to parasites and pathogens

  • Reducing reliance on bought inputs

  • Generating robust profit margins

However, reaching these goals comes with challenges.

This is why our members are mentored by the world’s leading soil health education agency, Understanding Ag.

Understanding Ag

Understanding Ag was founded by regenerative farming pioneers Gabe Brown and Dr. Allen Williams. They consult across over thirty five million acres of farmland, covering all farming systems, soil types and climate zones.

“Understanding Ag has had the pleasure of working with Regenerate Outcomes since 2020 with the philosophy of improving farm profitability while enhancing ecosystem health,” says Gabe.

“Understanding Ag’s focus is on the 6-3-4: The six principles of soil health, the three rules of adaptive stewardship and the four ecosystem processes.

“Farmers are educated as to how to implement the 6-3-4 on their farm, under their context, at a rate at which they are comfortable. No prescriptions are given, it is very flexible.

“The educational process frequently begins at workshops or field days then moves to the individual farm where, during annual visits from the UA consultant, a farmer can best explain their own context.

“Seeing regeneration taking place on their own farm leads to a better understanding and results. This unique approach leads to a high rate of adoption and success.

“Success is tracked through increased farm profitability, often the result of decreased input use, along with a suite of soil health tests, including carbon, biological tests and observations. These provide valuable information to the farm team.

“The Understanding Ag team takes great pride in their relationship with Regenerate Outcomes and the farmers they serve. We look forward to continuing that relationship.”

It's not about coming in and telling you what to do, but rather giving you the tools in the toolbox to get the soil working for you.
