Listen to Grounded: The regenerative farming podcast

Regenerate Outcomes are pleased to be teaming up with our mentoring partners Understanding Ag to bring you Grounded: The regenerative farming podcast.

Grounded features interviews and insights with people from across the farming community as they share stories and expertise of uplifting soil, plant, animal and human health.

The podcast is hosted by Stuart Johnson, 2023 Soil Farmer of the Year, and Kyle Richardville, who works as a farm consultant for Understanding Ag.

Stuart has spent the last 10 years building profitability and resilience at West Wharmley Farm, near Hexham, by adopting a no-till and mob grazing system and reducing reliance on fertiliser, fungicide and herbicide.

Kyle is working with Regenerate Outcomes as a soil health consultant forour network of farmers across the UK.

In our first two episodes we have been joined by globally-respected regenerative agriculture pioneer Dr Allen Williams, one of the founding partners of Understanding Ag, and Luke Jones.

Luke, who also works as a consultant for Understanding Ag, runs a family farm in Illinois with the purpose of improving the land to create a long-term, viable business for future generations. He has expertise in all aspects of cropping and livestock operations.

So far on Grounded we have discussed Stuart’s transition from conventional high input farming to focusing on soil health, profit and resilience, as well as the benefits of the 6-3-4 approach to regenerative agriculture.
